- How does the Genshin Impact wish/pity system work?
- Genshin uses a "pity" system that guarantees a 5-star character or weapon after a set number of wishes. The standard banner and limited character banner have a 90-wish hard pity, while the weapon banner has an 80-wish hard pity. A "soft pity" begins around wish 74, where rates increase dramatically. - Which elemental reaction does the most damage?
- For raw single-hit damage, Melt (Pyro + Cryo) and Vaporize (Pyro + Hydro) are the strongest amplifying reactions with 2x multipliers. For sustained team damage, Hyperbloom (Dendro + Hydro + Electro) is currently meta due to its consistency and low investment requirements. - What should I spend my Original Resin on as a new player?
- Early game: focus on world bosses for character ascension materials and ley lines (Mora and EXP books). Do not farm artifact domains until Adventure Rank 45, when you unlock the highest difficulty that guarantees a 5-star artifact drop. Use fragile resin only at AR45+.
- Can I explore Natlan without finishing previous regions?
- Yes — as of Version 5.0, Natlan is accessible early through a teleport waypoint unlocked after completing the Mondstadt Archon Quest prologue. You can walk there directly. However, some world quests and story content reference earlier regions, so playing in order is recommended for story context.
